Add your memories of Jenny with My Memories Form.
|
Jennifer F. Jaruzel Upon graduation, Jennifer enrolled in the Liberal Arts program at Monroe Community College. Her educational pursuit continued for fifteen years. In the spring of 1995, Jennifer was inducted into the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and graduated with Distinction from the Liberal Arts Health and Business program with a degree in the Natural Sciences and Math. Her dedication and perseverance are in and of themselves a tribute to her accomplishments. [From a memorial presented at the 20th class reunion by Sandie Stivers Palmer] |
Jenny and I skipped together on Senior Skip Day. Sad and ironic that she thought I drove too fast -- She was killed on an ATV.

Jenny and I shared homeroom. She was really into her violin/classical music and played beautifully. She was very smart and quiet. Jenny didn't really want people knowing how smart she was back then. She was an honor student and musically gifted. What I remember most about her are the stylish and funky hats she always wore to school. Jenny was trying to find "herself" and her "place" at FHS. Just like the rest of us. -- Marsha Jones - submitted June 6, 2002
I was saddened to hear of the loss of my first true love Jennifer "Jenny" Jaruzel. Jen was my first girlfriend. I was 16 at the time, and she was about 14 or 15. I often remember her family, especially her dad who survived WWII in Poland during the Nazi occupation and atrocities. They were such a wonderful family. Jen and I used to sneak out and hitchhike to Perinton park and a lot of parties during those days, and of course get into trouble, but we did have fun. She was a beautiful person who loved life especially Art and Music. I shall miss her dearly. God bless her family and friends -- Sincerely, Bob Welch - submitted May 28, 2003
Jen and I worked together at Rund's Periwinkle Pub and again at Oscar's on Monroe Ave. She did the chalkboard with all the specials at Oscar's and I marveled at her artistic ability. She was a wonderful person and I enjoyed working with her. I graduated in 1981 from Fairport and didn't know her well in school. -- Roberta (Pabico) Johnson - submitted October 31, 2004
