Dave was an out of the box kind of guy. In high school, when everyone was trying to make tapes perfect, he was going out of the way to make 'em imperfect. For example, after the tape was recorded, he'd blow on the needle before touching the disc, and you could hear it on tape. Always a few steps ahead.

My fondest memories of David are his free spiritedness, his love of life and his happy go lucky attitude. He always had a smile and a hug for everyone as well as kind words.
