  • Dollars for Scholars program thanks the Class of 1980 for our donation ... a part of our 25th Reunion program:

    Dear Christine,

    What a wonderful surprise to receive such a generous gift from the Class of 1980. How do we convey our appreciation to that group? If there is any follow-up to the reunion which you might pass along a very big thank you to your classmates, we would be most grateful. Our wonderfully supportive community is what has allowed Dollars for Scholars to flourish here. We thank you very much!

  • Classmate Update #146 comes to us from Fairport where he's a husband, a father of two and has run his own machine shop business for 20 years!
  • Classmate Update #147 offers us a short-form update. She's the mother of three and lives in Stanley.
  • Classmate Update #148 offers us a short-form update. She now lives in Rochester where she's the mother of two.
  • An old friend and classmate who had previously offered us updates, contributes again. This time he tells us of his new company, his travels and he offers a touching tribute to a beloved teacher.
  • Classmate Update #149 is a teacher in Fairport (JP), is married to another of our classmates and he enjoys motorcycling and camping. (Why is this starting to sound like the Dating Game? Meet Classmate #149!!!)
  • Finally for today, an old friend who's visited with us before updates us on a new job, some big changes in her life, and shares with us a couple of fabulous photos!

  • We've added a new old friend and classmate to our full roster (now at 558). Though she left Fairport after our freshman year, she now lives in Fairport with her husband (an FHS '78 grad) and two kids and she shares with us a short-form bio in Classmate Update #145!

  • With our 25th reunion coming up fast, it's important to locate as many classmates as possible and let them know about the reunion. You can help by visiting the Reunion Class List and seeing if you can help us locate anyone on our "missing" list.

  • Also, a challenge has been issued to the class. Several of the members of the reunion group have pledged money toward the Dollars for Scholars scholarship fund for every new classmate located. You can help us raise money for that scholarship by finding classmates and/or by pledging :

     

    • 25 cents per person for the next 25 classmates located.

    • 50 cents for the next 50 people located

    • 75 cents for each of the next 75 classmates located and

    • And $1per person after that.

    • $150 pledge cap
