you recognize this former classmate and Martha Brown student? She's a
professional athlete & performer on the national and international scene,
she has her own fan club, she performed in the closing ceremony at the 2002
Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City ... and there's even a bronze statue of

just finished interviewing ATC William Washburn from Virginia Beach
(and Fairport!) onboard USS Theodore Roosevelt. It should air sometime
tomorrow (Friday, 3/28) if it doesn't get bumped.
"I felt really
awkward but I said some good stuff about God and faith. I hope they edit
out stupid expressions and stuff."

The FHS class of 1980, the
Fairport community,
and the Vermeulen family have
suffered the
loss of
Marty Vermeulen.
Marty was killed in a tragic
snowmobile
accident in the Adirondacks on
Friday,
February 21st. Marty leaves
behind his wife,
Tammy, and two beautiful
children and
he leaves us with our fond
memories
and our aching hearts.

The website has received some very sad news
about the tragic, accidental death of one of our former classmates today. He
was a father, a husband, a son, a cousin, and a friend ... and he touched
many with his smile and his humor. His cousin offers us the painful news in
this Classmate Remembered.
