William Tiberio |
William Tiberio was a student musician who graduated in 1980. Today, he’s a teacher who shares his love of music with Fairport students and with the community through several concerts each year. Following high school, he earned music education degrees with distinction at Ithaca College and SUNY Fredonia. Upon his return to FHS, he has continued the tradition of musical excellence and has instructed the entire jazz program for 12 years. A few years ago, Mr. Tiberio found a way to use music to help others . He began a program of jazz benefit concerts that has raised more than $25,000 for local charities. Highly respected as an educator and musical performer, he looks to his role of husband and father as his proudest accomplishment. |
