Todd Bane

On May 9, 2000, Todd Bane was honored for his service to the Town of Perinton. At an awards ceremony held at Woodcliff Lodge, he was recognized for his term as Fire Chief at the Bushnell's Basin Fire Department and for his many years of dedicated service to the community.

Congratulations, Todd!

Tom Beck, Commissioner of Public Works for the Town of Perinton, representing Supervisor James Smith, presented Todd Bane with an award in recognition of his service to the community. At the end of his term as Bushnell's Basin Fire Chief, Todd received the Chief's Pewter Speaking Trumpet, a traditional gift given to outgoing chiefs. The speaking trumpet was used by fire chiefs to give orders to firefighters before the advent of the modern radio.
