"Ms. Jones had already begun to show her extraordinary talent and energy by the time she graduated in 1980. At Purdue University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism and Spanish, she received the award for outstanding leadership, service, and academic achievement. She began her communications career in Rochester where she is currently the Regional Marketing & Communications Coordinator for Planned Parenthood. Ms. Jones makes a difference in the lives of many, whether it's by serving on the board of directors for the National Black Women's Health Project, by teaching diversity courses, or by speaking with students about careers in communication."
