After earning her Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering from NJIT and her Masters Degree in Technology Management from Stevens Institute, Cyndi spent fifteen years in a broad range of companies and responsibilities. Those experiences more than qualified her for the prestigious position of  General Manager at MYOB US.

Cynthia A. Mackewicz named

General Manager of MYOB US, Inc.

February 26, 2001 (Rockaway, NJ) Cynthia A. Mackewicz has been named General Manager, MYOB US, Inc. by its parent company, MYOB Ltd., Melbourne, Australia. Ms. Mackewicz will assume the post from Christopher Lee, Executive Director, MYOB Ltd,, who has been functioning as the interim General Manager in addition to his responsibilities leading product strategy and design for the global organization. MYOB US, Inc. develops award winning small business accounting software including MYOB AccountEdge and MYOB Accounting Plus and is one of six sister companies operating under MYOB Ltd, including MYOB Canada, MYOB UK, MYOB Australia, MYOB New Zealand, and MYOB Asia.

Ms. Mackewicz brings to the position over 15 years diverse industry experience in engineering development and design processes and emerging technologies including internet e-business applications and strategies. Her most recent position was as Vice President of Operations and Strategic Business Planning for Impact Communications, a leading e-business service application provider of business to business solutions for corporate Fortune 1000 sales and marketing teams. Prior professional successes include her position as World Wide Operations Manager for an emerging technology venture group with AlliedSignal Corporation. As General Manager of MYOB US, Inc., Ms. Mackewicz is responsible for ensuring that the company is positioned for responsible growth by building on the company's current market position and capitalizing on its competitive advantages.

Ms. Mackewicz holds a Masters Degree in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Professional memberships include the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, Society of Plastics Engineers, the New Jersey Technology Council and Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honors Society. She resides in Long Valley, NJ with her husband and two sons.
