Bill is in his 19th year as a music educator and has been teaching at Fairport High School for 15 years. He has been honored at Fairport High School with an award given annually by his peers to an outstanding educator, has  received the U of R Excellence in Secondary Teaching Award, and has been selected as a high school graduation speaker. One of his proudest school achievements is having the 2000 Fairport HS Yearbook dedicated to him.
