Mr. Santini graduated from Fairport High in 1957 and so did his wife. He taught and coached in Morrisville, NY, for 5 years and in LeRoy, NY, for 9 years before returning home to Fairport. The rest, as they say, is history!

Update:

Now in his 7th year as the coach of running backs at the University of Rochester, Coach Santini has also returned to FHS and is sharing an assistant principle position with Mr. Clark. In a recent (4/7/02) email, Mr. Santini wrote:

"I am back working at FHS - started in January and will go on until graduation. I am job sharing an assistant principal's position with Gary Clark the former swim coach. It works out great for us because we work every other day. We are both really having a good time!!"
